The design process began with the basic idea of keeping the existing structure and adding a new one to accommodate additional functions. To enhance the appearance of the existing structure and to emphasize its war-struck look was the purpose of the project. Since the project was based next to the Arvand Rood river and Be’ sat bridge holds a very significant role as a domestic engineering masterpiece during the war between Iran and Iraq, the bridge was considered as the main setting of design.
