There were two key points in cities which was located right beside each other in Saudi Arabia before Islam. First one was Bazaar that plays the role of the spine for the city (the economical center),the other one was mosque-school that play the cultural role and was placed right beside the spine. in early Islamic periods in Mecca, Kaaba was the cultural center which was located beside Akaz and Zi Almajaz that was the main Bazaar of Mecca. Ancient Naghsh-E-Jahan Square in Isfahan, Iran was another famous Examples. Emam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfolah Mosque, and Qeisarie Great Bazaar were gathered around the Naghsh-E-Jahan Square and created an active urban plaza.
